Back2Basics: Managing Diseases in the Greenhouse
In this session, we will review some of the most common diseases of greenhouse crops including bacteria, Botrytis, and powdery mildew. We will discuss the places disease start and ways to stop them with cultural or environmental methods. The effects of nutrition and water management will be a focus. Resources to help growers make the most effective decisions in product choice and rotations will be shown and exmples will be given of effective rotations (conventional and organic) for diseases in the greenhouse.
